I wrote a letter to you I think dated the seventh instant containing 18 dollars and giving you an account of the situation of my family, Mr Mills was here last evening and calculates to start tomorrow morning for the Island. I thought I would send a few lines by him to see if you have receivd the letter above mentioned.
I dont know that my wife is any better, whether she will loose her life or foot I cant tell at present. I regret very much that I cant come on the Island this fall. Mr Mill, if you see him, can give you information of the distress of my wife. Please to send a few lines by Mr Mills to let me know how you all do and whether you have receivd the letter and money.
Yours Respectfully Seth Williamson
