Dear Daisy- Your appeal "If only a postal do let us hear from you" came almost as a reproach to me & I was more than sorry to find my stock of cards exhausted or I would have responded at once. I have not been quite up to concert pitch & scribbling tires me. Your letters are a great delight & the pleasure would be double if I could reply at once on receiving them. After this perhaps the strength will come.-The weariness depart = We were invited to Dorothy E_'s wedding but the distance prevented our accepting - leaving the cost out of the question - With much love from us both - Always & ever
Thine own E.F.M.
