Dear sir, I reply to yours of the 21st just to say that I will oblige you as you ask provided you are here to see that the picture is returning to your house as it should be with great care.
The frame is heavy and has fallen twice while we were absent from home and very much broken & I have just had it fixed & repaired &c and I am confident it won't stand the [rough?] handling given by the
men who call with Horse Cart loaded of other pictures on it as they do [ ] nicely before [ ] returns in the damp may. I think the risk too great but if you will [avoid?] that I shall be happy to oblige you
Yours truly, Abel Denison
