Dear Daisy =Pardon the plain postal - I have searched till I am fairly dizzy for an illustrated card. I have given up in despair - At times I think we have changed climates with Cal. The rains come in such torrents & the winds howl so persistently!
S___ Wickham sails this afternoon for England I do not envy her. There have been too many sad affairs on the ocean in spite of Marconi's wireless - Do write to me, it seems quite an age since any tidings have come from _ Ruth & I am getting quite anxious about her, both _ & Scott have been very ill in Baltimore during the past few
Months - so much for the salubrity of the South!
Give y best love to your mama & papa & tell the latter I am obliged for the papers which came last night- Affectionately-
Nina sends love to all.
