I have just returned from a visit to Boston which will excuse me from not answering your letter sooner. I do not know hardly what to say to you just at this time. I have not commenced a picture for you yet, but I expect to commence a picture for you in a few days, and if I should please myself it will give me pleasure to let you know the subject, etc.
I should prefer to have your picture sent you framed. Will you allow me to order you a suitable frame? Wm. S. Conely, 19 Essex St. N.Y. makes my frames and charges reasonable.
