I believe you begin to think and not without a reason that I have forgot you by my not writing, but I never received any letter from you since I saw you on the Island before last Tuesday and then I received three all at once. I have nothing very particular to write. Mr Sears has been sick with the prevailing fever but he is about again. We are all well at present. The meazles has been pretty much through every family except ours, but I expect I shall have it for I am now at work where they have it.
I wish you could make it convenient to come up and see me. I understood by your letter that you calculated to come up and see me the last of April past. I have not done looking for you yet. We have a great majority in the Republican ticket in this town this election, Give my best respects to all enquiring friends and accept the same for yourself.
