Dear Daisy
I am truly please to know via your card received last evening that the long rain is over, leaving your shingles undissolved. They have been formed with another installment of winter, the ground is covered with snow again, of course it cannot last long- It seemed quite too bad though to use up the sunshine when it comes-melting the snow instead of softening the frozen earth & making it ready for planting sweet peas and such I hope we can have a garden he coming summer-but I doubt it. Love to all, glad to hear your mother is getting better
