My dear Daisey,
I am sending you by P.P. the latest picture that I have had taken
As my hair has not yet turned gray and I have plenty of it they consider it an excellent likeness; so I have had some more of them struck off and am sending you one.
As you probably have a very hazy remembrance of me it will fix you more thoroughly in your mind; I am just plodding along very seldom leaving the house as my legs seem to have lost the ability to carry me very far except wit a cane and frequent rests.
Trusting that this will find you in good health and enjoying your winter
