My Dear Uncle,
On Wednesday I called at the packet to enquire about a bundle Father left there by mistake.
They told me they found the bundle on board, and supposing it was intended to be left at Stony Brook, left it with you.
Will you please put it on board the boat next week so that I can obtain it and forward it to Father.
I am very pleasantly situated here in the store and every thing goes on "like a book".
I am very busy, or would write you a long letter, but as it is will be obliged to do so another time.
Do let me hear from you
Your affectionate Nephew
