Wm. S. Mount Esqr.
Your esteemed favor of the 27th Oct was duly recd informing me that you had presented your "fortune teller" to the New York Gallery. Personally allow me to thank you for your valuable gift.
At the first meeting of our Executive Committee I will lay your letter before them and you will then receive the usual communication from them, it being their duty to receive all donations and officially acknowledge the same.
What are you about? I wish you was some where within reach so that one could get at you now and then. You must not bury your genius in Long Island Sand. Come home amongst us now and then and see what we are at.
Yours truly, Jon Sturges
