Dear Sir,
You will receive with this letter a picture: Undutiful Boys. Boys hustling coppers on the barn floor. It is not varnished as you requested and it is agreable to me that the picture should not be varnished at present.
In one of your interesting letters I find you intend having your Gallery doors painted by different Artists and I am pleased you wish me to paint one of them. In consequence of my having commissions that must be attended to, I am sorry to say, I can not further your views at present. My price of the picture Undutiful Boys two hundred and twenty dollars. I hope the picture will
meet your approbaton.
Please to give my respects to Mr. Sturges and Mr. Allen.
I remain Yours
Respectfully Wm. S. Mount
