Ginger jar. Hexagonal shapes in dark blue, reddish brown, grey, blue-green, and white, each with a naturalistic or stylized flower or tree and fence. Circular lid.
Brought back to Stony Brook from a trip to China in 1872 by Deborah Cleeves Dickerson Davis (1806-1872) and her daughter Mary Davis.
